How it works

Does converting a GIF to JPG keep the animation?
No. This tool only grabs the first frame of the GIF and converts that one still image. If your GIF is animated, the motion is not preserved — you'll get a single still JPG, not a moving one.
What happens to transparent areas in my GIF?
JPG can't store transparency at all. Any transparent pixels in your GIF turn solid black once converted. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG or WebP instead.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
