How it works

When to use it

Does converting a GIF to PNG keep the animation?
No. This tool only grabs the first frame of the GIF and converts that one still image. If your GIF is animated, the motion is not preserved — you'll get a single still PNG, not a moving one.
Will I lose any quality?
No. PNG is lossless, so the pixels from that first frame come through exactly as they were — no quality loss, and transparency is kept too.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
